A high-density pad under the ball of the foot and a medium-density heel pad provides protection from foot shock, resulting in concussion, abrasion, and blisters. A medium-density toe pad reduces compression and the effects of jarred toes resulting from step training workouts. Special placement of spandex gives extra support and stability during rapid twisting lateral movements of fitness dance. Stretch nylon at the instep and over the toe area allows for rapid evaporation of moisture and less bulk.
